We make every effort to provide healthy chicks to our customers. Once chicks leave the store, customer assumes full responsibility. Chicks are non-returnable or refundable. We do reserve the right to delay chicks’ availability in order to evaluate them before releasing them if concern arises. We only provided chicks from hatcheries that are NPIP (National Poultry Improvement Standards) and regularly tests for Avion Influenza (AI).

Reservation Policy: You'll receive a call the morning we get your birds. Customers are responsible for providing a working number. Our orders unusually come Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Your reservation will be held until the following Tuesday Evening. All birds not claimed by Wednesday morning are available to walk-ins.
Please Note: While we do sell some poultry straight run (both male & female) The layers we offer are pullets (female only) and sexed by the hatchery prior to shipping. According to the hatchery, there can be an error rate of up to 10%.
Be Aware: Three-day old Chicks are very fragile. Expect that some may not make it, order accordingly. We are not liable for any chicks that may be lost after leaving the store.
Rooster Orders: We can order roosters to come with your order of pullets. We are not able to make orders of different breeds of chicks.

Vaccine Information: Cornish Cross chicks come automatically vaccinated. All other poultry is only vaccinated upon request and is an additional cost. We do have options for unvaccinated meat birds (Rudd Rangers). Chicks that are vaccinated should not be feed medicated chick starter.
